

Once done, relaunch FaceTime and log in with the same Apple ID you use for your iPhone. I had originally signed in with an Apple ID to my account, so I went in and removed it there. My fix was pretty basic, what worked in the end for me was going into System Settings > Users & Groups. I had the same issue, and managed to fix it after a lot of effort. I wanted to get my caller ID synced from my phone to my iMac, so I logged out from my apple id in iMessage and Facetime and now I can't login again.
